Summer 2023 Odell Rec Double Good Fundraiser

Dear Parents,

We are writing to inform you about an exciting fundraising opportunity that we have organized for Odell Rec. We will be conducting a Double Good Popcorn fundraiser, and we would greatly appreciate your support. Fundraisers play a crucial role in enhancing our programs for every child in the program. By participating in this fundraiser, you can make a significant contribution to our rec program. In addition, your family has the chance to win some incredible prizes! These prizes will be awarded based on the total amount raised for the organization, and they will be given to the top fundraisers.

Double Good Popcorn is a well-known and reputable company that offers a delicious selection of gourmet popcorn flavors. Their products are of the highest quality and are sure to be a hit with family, friends, and coworkers. The fundraiser is simple and convenient, as participants can easily sell popcorn using the provided order forms or through an online platform.

Here’s how the fundraiser works:

It’s 100% contactless, Odell Rec will keep 50% of the profit and the product ships directly to your supporters.  Double Good ultra-premium popcorn! Prices for Signature Bags (5 cups each) start at $9, and Curated Collections at $26. The popcorn is delicious and award-winning!

Our fundraiser begins Thursday, June 15, 2023 at 5:00 PM and ends on Monday, June 19, 2023 at 5:00 PM

Before the fundraiser begins:

  1. Download the Double Good app
  2. Enter our Event Code J E P L J D in the app
  3. Create your Pop-Up Store for your family. You will then have your own unique code for the fundraiser that will be linked to your family and prizes will be awarded based on the amount you raise.

Prizes for the families raising the most money will include (depending on the amount of money we raise)

Odell Rec Program Registration Gift Certificates

We kindly request your support in encouraging your family’s participation in this fundraising initiative. By doing so, you are not only helping our program, but you are also teaching your child valuable lessons about teamwork, community involvement, and the importance of supporting non-profit organizations.

We are confident that with your help, this fundraiser will be a resounding success. Together, we can make a significant difference in supporting our program and providing enriching experiences for our athletes.  The goal for this fundraiser is $100,000.  With approximatively 5,000 families in the Odell Rec program each family only needs to sell $40 worth of popcorn to reach this goal.

The fundraiser will be used for the following
TBall fields and benches with canopies in upper fields
Soccer benches with canopies for shade for the players
Scoreboards for the baseball fields
Lighting for the parking lot
Football new helmets, helmet reconditioning and tackling dummies
Cheer Program Storage
Replacement of storage sheds
Cleaning of the park and also landscaping enhancements
Any funds earned from the fundraiser will be used to benefit the players and families of Odell Rec
