Welcome to our Friday Night Pickup Baseball League for boys and girls aged 7-15! We are thrilled to provide a fun and inclusive environment where young athletes can come together and enjoy the exciting game of baseball. All the information you need to know about our games is below.

Overview
Our pickup baseball league offers an opportunity for boys and girls of various skill levels to come together and participate in friendly games on specific Friday nights this summer. Whether your child is a seasoned player or just starting to learn the game, everyone is welcome to join in the fun.

Location and Schedule
We will be using Field 2 to start the night off. If we need to, we will split the group into 2 or even 3 fields The address for your GPS is

Games will take place every Friday night starting at 6:00pm. We will go until 8:00/8:30 depending on the players and parents. Please arrive a few minutes early to allow time for warm-up and for team organization.

Registration
To participate in our pickup baseball league, registration is not required but requested. It will allow us to better prepare for the night. Please fill out the registration form available below and submit it. There is no charge for these games. These games are open to the public and not just the Odell Rec families.

Game Format
Our games are structured as pickup games, emphasizing fun, participation, and skill development. We divide the participants into teams based on age and skill level, ensuring balanced and competitive matchups. The teams are formed on-site before each game to give everyone an equal chance to play and make new friends. We will not keep score and rules will be explained at the start of each game.

Safety Measures
The safety of our players is our top priority. We require all participants to wear appropriate footwear and helmets while batting. Our coaches and volunteers are trained to supervise the games and ensure a safe playing environment. A first aid kit will be available on-site for any minor injuries.

Sportsmanship and Values
We strongly emphasize good sportsmanship, teamwork, and respect for others. Our league fosters an inclusive and supportive atmosphere where players learn valuable life skills alongside baseball skills. We encourage all participants to demonstrate fairness, integrity, and respect towards teammates, opponents, coaches, and officials.

Parent/Guardian Involvement
Parents and guardians are encouraged to be actively involved in our league. You can support your child by attending games, cheering them on, and volunteering as a coach or assistant if needed. We value your involvement and believe that a strong parent-community partnership contributes to a positive experience for the young athletes.

Refreshments and Socializing
We encourage participants to bring their own water bottles to stay hydrated throughout the games. The concession stand will be open for drinks and snacks.
